If you’re a fan of the Method and wish you could get more training information than what is available in the training kits, on the TV shows, or at tours and clinics, then you’re the type of horseman Clinton created the Ranch Rally for. Held annually since 2015, the Ranch Rally takes place at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch in Stephenville, Texas and features advanced training topics and techniques that Clinton only presents at the Rally.

Training demos covered in depth at the October 20th and 21st Ranch Rally include:

  • Colt starting – learn the exact steps Clinton takes when starting a horse, from the first saddling to the third ride.
  • Hobbling – discover why it’s an important addition to a horse’s training that could save his life and how to safely do it.
  • Training 2- and 3-year-old reining horses – Clinton shares what he looks to accomplish in each year of a horse’s training. You’ll learn how to begin training a horse to spin, to stop, to do lead changes and to rollback, and then how to refine and add speed to those movements.
  • Obstacle training – working with five different horses at various stages of the training process, you’ll learn how to introduce a horse to obstacles and how to keep training sessions fresh and interesting for well-trained horses that have been there and done that.
  • Training on the trail – learn the exercises and get Clinton’s must-have tips for training a horse to be a safe, willing trail partner. Clinton guides you around the ranch, showing you how he uses the natural environment and man-made obstacles to ensure his horses are just as dependable outside of the arena as they are inside of it.
  • Working cow horse – Clinton and Ian Francis, a three-time Australian NCHA Futurity champion, team up to educate and thrill attendees in this high-energy demo. Clinton explains how to introduce a horse to cattle while Ian demonstrates how to hone a horse’s skills to compete and win at a world level.
  • Advanced groundwork – watch an inspiring liberty and trick performance, and then learn how you can begin liberty and trick training with your horse.

Along with the training demonstrations, Rally goers will be given a tour of the ranch, be invited to explore the facility, visit Clinton’s horses and be treated to a festive party with live music and a bonfire. The Ranch Rally offers serious horsemen a unique opportunity to explore Clinton’s ranch from sun up to sun down all while adding to their horsemanship knowledge and enjoying the comradery of like-minded horsemen.

Learn all about the event on our website.  Only 500 tickets are available for the Ranch Rally and are being sold now. Secure your tickets by calling 888-287-7432 or purchasing them online. Tickets are $250 for No Worries Club members and $350 for non-members. We recommend booking hotel rooms now as accommodations in Stephenville will sell out.
