Gain the Right Experience

Great horsemen have three things in common: excellent feel, great timing and extensive experience working with horses and studying horsemanship. “The only way to develop feel and timing is through experience. The more horses you ride, the more clinics you go to, the more videos you watch, and the more books you read, the more experienced and knowledgeable you become,” Clinton explains. “The hardest things for me to teach people are feel and timing. I wish I could bottle them up and hand them over to you, but I can’t because they are not something that you can physically touch. What I can do is work with you and your horse and share with you my experiences that have helped me develop my own feel and timing.”

In August, Clinton will be sharing his experience and working with horsemen and their horses at the PineRidge Equine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. During the three-day Fundamentals Clinic, the clinician will teach horsemen the groundwork and riding exercises that make up the Fundamentals level of the Method and help them refine their skills to become better leaders for their horses.

Spectators are welcome to attend all three days of the clinic to add to their horsemanship knowledge. Although there’s no better way to gain experience than by getting one-on-one help, watching Clinton and his clinicians work with 20 horses and riders to help them overcome their individual challenges, is a phenomenal way to gain a better understanding of the feel and timing required to become a better horseman.

Spectator tickets to the clinic can be purchased online or by calling 888-287-7432. Doors to the facility will open at 8 a.m. daily. The clinic will begin at 9 a.m., include an hour lunch break, and conclude at 5 p.m. daily. For more information about the clinic, visit our website.
