Hard-Working, Out-Performing Equipment

I came to the Columbus tour stop last August with my horse Fred. He worked with Certified Clinician Diego Gaona on trailer loading. I really wanted to share something with you, Clinton and the company. At that tour stop, I purchased an Aussie Saddle. Now that unit is about the most comfortable saddle I’ve ever sat in, bar none! I’ve sat in saddles that fit my horse and look like they’d be so comfortable, only to find out where, exactly Cowboys get their distinctive limps!

Yesterday, a friend and I went on a trail ride to a place we’d never been before. Both of us brought horses with “circumstances.” My horse, Phoebe, is a very rotund half-Arab and struggles with Equine Metabolic Syndrome and my friend’s horse had only been out in the woods one other time, so we didn’t want the ride to be too intense for either of them. We were told it wouldn’t be. Intense has a wide meaning depending on who you’re with. Turns out, we were with the “Man from Snowy River” (you may be too young to know that movie, but if you Google images for that movie, you’ll appreciate what I’m talking about). There were twists, turns, switch backs, lots and lots of rocks, hills that were very steep…both up and down, there was also lots of water to cross (some up to 4 feet deep). That saddle is the boss! I mean it stayed centered all day, through all of that. My horse is not an easy fit; she’s round and has very little withers to speak of.

And the saddle pad? Best one ever. My horse is just a little low in the back, and when the saddle came off, there was no “bridging” at all. About an hour-and-a-half into what turned out to be a very rugged ride for us, when we stopped to give the horses a breather, I took a look down to check equipment, and my girth had 1/4″ of daylight between the horse and the girth! Still, it stayed centered. I’m sitting there thinking this unit is worth the money right now! Best saddle and pad ever. When I’m riding I want to be comfortable, but more importantly, I want my horse to be comfortable. Horses are not going to do their best work if their clothes don’t fit, any more than humans do. But unlike humans, horses can show negative physical effects from ill-fitting tack.

I just had to tell you how much I appreciate this saddle and pad. They’re worth every penny! Thanks again for everything! Oh, and I also wouldn’t be without my halter and lead. I can’t use anything else! I could go on and on, but the Aussie Tie Rings are the bomb too! I wouldn’t be without them, and I don’t tie my horses to anything else. You really market great products! I haven’t purchased anything that didn’t do exactly what you said it would do, and that includes the kits! Thank you for everything! – Denise
