From Our Friends At Vetericyn: A Mountain Lion Of A Testimonial

It’s always great to read so many stories on the Vetericyn Facebook page from people such as Chris Gauley who recently shared his experience of an incident his young gelding suffered in 2012. “Last year my 4 year-old gelding, Bo, was attacked by a mountain lion in the pasture. The cat tried to take him down and tore a huge hole in his neck, barely missing his jugular vein. Bo also had claw marks down his back and a tear in his chest. The vet used over 8 feet of stitching to close the wound. He told us to wash the wound daily with water and put an ointment on it to keep it moist. Bo would have none of this – we couldn’t even get close to his wound, so we decided to start spraying it twice a day with Vetericyn instead. We also had laser treatments done on it once per week. We could not believe how good the wound looked after just one week! We treated him and kept him in a stall for 6 weeks. By the time he was able to go back with the rest of our horses, the wound was hardly visible,” Chris explains. “To see Bo now, you would never know what happened to him. He is healthy and looks great! We were big fans of Vetericyn before this happened, but now we swear by it. Thank you, Vetericyn!”

Now it’s your turn! Vetericyn would like to hear your story, so head on over to the Vetericyn Facebook page to share your own testimonial through videos and photos and read more great testimonials from other Vetericyn believers like Chris.
